- offer opportunities to try out the concept of situational leadership

The Story (extract)
You are the newly appointed HR manager, reporting directly to the Management board. Your department is in a rather terrible condition. You have 8 months to launch HR initiatives, strengthen your team, and achieve better performance or - the Board will shut down the department and outsource HR entirely.
